Methodology

The Blind Spot.

How an outside-in read of perception, signal, and trust is built into a report.

Imagine you are known internally for the quality of your work. Over time, however, the public language surrounding the organization starts telling a simpler story.

Search results repeat the same phrases. Reviews emphasize the wrong things. AI summaries flatten the company into a broader, more generic category.

None of it is individually wrong. Together, it changes how the organization is understood before a conversation even begins.

The report identifies where that drift formed, which signals reinforce it, and the specific changes most likely to shift the read over time.

I.Premise

The Blind Spot reads an organization from the outside in.

Organizations accumulate descriptions of themselves over time. Search results, AI summaries, review language, copied metadata, third-party listings, old positioning, rewritten bios. Some align cleanly. Many do not.

How an organization describes itself and how it is actually perceived are often two very different things.

II.Method

A proprietary method.

The Blind Spot is an evolving analysis system built by combining methods from systems thinking, perception research, organizational analysis, and AI-assisted reasoning into a new kind of visibility diagnostic.

It was developed in response to a simple shift: organizations are now interpreted through systems that did not exist a decade ago.

Search changed how businesses were found. AI is changing how they are described, summarized, compared, and understood.

The old model assumed people would encounter organizations directly and in context. Increasingly, they encounter fragments first: summaries, generated descriptions, review patterns, third-party language, and machine-mediated first impressions.

The Blind Spot is made for this environment.
